• Vocabulary **
• Essential Question for Chp 1
• Imagine life as you know it changing drastically.  What physical, emotional, and  character/personality changes might you encounter?  As you read Chapter 1, imagine you are Buck and experiencing the story through his eyes. Make note of thoughts and ideas so that you can answer the essential question at the end of Chp 1.
• Chapter 1--- listen to story in class

• Google book 

Wednesday:

• Chapter 1 comprehension questions **
• Work on vocabulary**

Thursday:   

• Chapter 1- Writing Prompt #1-- complete in class; take it home if needs to be finished **
• Discuss Chapter 1 comrehension ws-- check answers

• Chapter 2--- listen to story in class
• audio 
• Google book 
• Tracking the Dogs chart-- find answers in Chp 1-2 **

Friday: 

• First 30 minutes of class-- work time
• vocabulary for Chp 1-3
• Tracking the Dogs chart 
• Chapter 2 comprehension questions**
• Picture This activity
• Work with partner to match up the characters (humans and dogs) with the specified trais **see instruction sheet 
• For Monday-- cut out all of your shapes and have all planning done 
• Read part of Chp 3 

Monday:

• Finish reading Chapter 3
• Finish "Picture This" activity poster
• Chapter 3 comprehension questions
• Compare-Contrast paragraph **

CHAPTER 1-3 CHECKPOINT TEST IS ON TUESDAY!!
